A replica retro cycling outfit from our exclusive RedTed collection. A cycling jersey with an aerodynamic and clean cut design and cycling shorts with comfortable and performance fabric and chamois. All in all, the look of the past and the comfort of the present.
The RedTed Performance retro cycling jerseys have a silicone grip at the back and an elastic band with a grip at the front. Together with the elastic band at the (somewhat longer) sleeve, this ensures the jersey stays perfectly in place while cycling. The fabric is 100% polyester with a micro-hole ball pattern (breathable and lightweight).
These cycling jerseys are aerodynamic - so 'slim fit'; just a bit more tailored than the standard Retro Cycling jerseys. Because of the flatlock stitching, the jersey is sturdy and the seams do not irritate. The cycling jerseys are finished with a hidden long YKK heavy duty zip and have 3 large back pockets which are closed with an elastic band.
The RedTed Performance cycling shorts are composed of 3 different layers. The first layer is a breathable comfortable fabric (Lycra). The second layer contains an anti-shock cushion. The third layer is again a breathable fabric. Our RedTed Performance cycling shorts also contain a widened performance chamois for extra comfort and convenience. Suitable for short as well as long rides. The RedTed Performance cycling outfits are available in 8 sizes, from S till 5XL.

Saint-Raphaël had several well-known co-sponsors throughout its existence from 1962-1694: Geminiani (bicycle brand of rider/team leader Raphaël Geminiani), Dunlop, Helyett, Hutchinson and Gitane. In 1962, the cycling team was known as Saint-Raphaël-Geminiani-Hutchinson. In 1963 it was Saint-Raphael - Gitane - Geminiani and in 1964 Saint-Raphaël - Gitane - Dunlop. Some legendary cyclists who served at Saint-Raphael include Jacques Anquetil, Rudi Altig, Jean Stablinski and Raphaël Geminiani.

There were also the British Brian Robinson, René Binggeli from Switzerland and the Belgian Marcel Janssens. The most famous non-French rider was German Rudi Altig. He won the Tour of Spain and the Tour de France points classification in 1962 and the Flemish "High Mass" The Tour of Flanders in 1964. The team manager was the legendary French cyclist Raphaël Géminiani.
