The RedTed Performance retro cycling jerseys have a silicone grip at the back and an elastic band with a grip at the front. Together with the elastic band at the (somewhat longer) sleeve, this ensures the jersey stays perfectly in place while cycling. The fabric is 100% polyester with a micro-hole ball pattern (breathable and lightweight).
These cycling jerseys are aerodynamic - so 'slim fit'; just a bit more tailored than the standard Retro Cycling jerseys. Because of the flatlock stitching, the jersey is sturdy and the seams do not irritate. The cycling jerseys are finished with a hidden long YKK heavy duty zip and have 3 large back pockets which are closed with an elastic band.
The RedTed Performance cycling shorts are composed of 3 different layers. The first layer is a breathable comfortable fabric (Lycra). The second layer contains an anti-shock cushion. The third layer is again a breathable fabric. Our RedTed Performance cycling shorts also contain a widened performance chamois for extra comfort and convenience. Suitable for short as well as long rides. The RedTed Performance cycling outfits are available in 8 sizes, from S till 5XL.

Mercier Hutchinson (officially Mercier BP Hutchinson) was a French cycling team that participated in many major races and tours from 1935 to 1984. From the start of this cycling team until 1969, Cycles Mercier - a bicycle manufacturer - was the main sponsor. This purple-and-yellow jersey of the team was worn during the Mercier-BP-Hutchinson sponsorship period. Other sponsors joined the team in later years. Between 1973 and 1976, GAN Cycling replaced Mercier and as the team's main sponsor, leading to the formation of the GAN Mercier Hutchinson cycling team. From 1977 to 1982 - the last years of the team's existence - Miko became the main sponsor and the team name became Miko-Mercier-Vivagel.
Mercier Hutchinson's best riders, including Raymond Poulidor, won numerous important races during the team's golden years. Raymond Poulidor - with the pet name Pou-Pou - took the lion's share of these. He won the 1964 Vuelta A Espana and provided several more memorable victories. He also finished second in the Tour de France three times. Although Poulidor never wore the Tour de France's yellow jersey, he was extremely popular and was warmly applauded at the tour every year, earning him the nickname "The Eternal Second. Raymond. This friendly French rider's pet name is "Pou-Pou. Raymond passed away in 2019 but remains as an immortal sportsman in the hearts of many French cycling fans.
