The RedTed Performance retro cycling jerseys have a silicone grip at the back and an elastic band with a grip at the front. Together with the elastic band at the (somewhat longer) sleeve, this ensures the jersey stays perfectly in place while cycling. The fabric is 100% polyester with a micro-hole ball pattern (breathable and lightweight).
These cycling jerseys are aerodynamic - so 'slim fit'; just a bit more tailored than the standard Retro Cycling jerseys. Because of the flatlock stitching, the jersey is sturdy and the seams do not irritate. The cycling jerseys are finished with a hidden long YKK heavy duty zip and have 3 large back pockets which are closed with an elastic band. The RedTed Performance cycling jerseys are available in 8 sizes, from S till 5XL.

Retro Cycling Jersey Mercier Hutchinson - REDTED

Mercier Hutchinson was a French cycling team that competed in many racing professional circuits from 1935 to 1984. From the team's inception until 1969, Cycles Mercier, a bicycle manufacturer, was its primary sponsor. The team's purple-yellow jersey became also well-known during the Mercier sponsorship period. Other sponsors joined the team in later years. Between 1973 and 1976, Gan replaced Cycles Mercier and became the team's main sponsor, leading to the formation of the Gan Mercier Hutchinson team. From 1977 until 1982 ,almost the last years of team existence, Miko became the main sponsor creating the Miko Mercier Vivagel team.
The best cyclists of Mercier Hutchinson, including Raymond Poulidor, have won numerous important races during the team's golden years. Raymond Poulidor won the 1964 Vuelta a Espana, and recorded one of Mercier Hutchinson's most memorable victories. He has also finished second in the Tour de France three times. Although Poulidor never wore the yellow jersey of the Tour de France, he was extremely popular and was applauded warmly every year on the Tour, earning him the nickname "the eternal second. Raymond passed away in 2019 but remains an immortal sportsman in the hearts of many French cycling fans.
