A replica retro cycling jersey from our exclusive RedTed collection. With the look of the past and the comfort of the present. 

The RedTed Performance retro cycling jerseys have a silicone grip at the back and an elastic band with a grip at the front. Together with the elastic band at the (somewhat longer) sleeve, this ensures the jersey stays perfectly in place while cycling. The fabric is 100% polyester with a micro-hole ball pattern (breathable and lightweight).

These cycling jerseys are aerodynamic - so 'slim fit'; just a bit more tailored than the standard Retro Cycling jerseys. Because of the flatlock stitching, the jersey is sturdy and the seams do not irritate. The cycling jerseys are finished with a hidden long YKK heavy duty zip and have 3 large back pockets which are closed with an elastic band. The RedTed Performance cycling jerseys are available in 8 sizes, from S till 5XL.

ATTENTION: 'Italian' sizing and 'slim fit' so be sure to choose one size bigger than your usual European dress size. CHECK OUT THE SIZING TABLE.

IJsboerke Warncke Retro cycling jersey - 1973-1980

A beautiful replica of the historical cycling jersey from IJsboerke. IJsboerke is a former Belgian cycling team, founded in 1973 and stopped in 1980, sponsored by the eponymous ice cream brand. A replica by RedTed - tightly cut professional cycling jerseys for the real enthusiasts. This cycling jersey belongs to the IJsboerke-Warncke cycling team (1979).
 
Staf Janssens of the Belgian ice cream factory IJsboerke founded the cycling team IJsboerke in 1973. IJsboerke was the first real professionally organized team in Belgium. Many Belgian and Dutch cyclists such as the Belgians Walter Godefroot, Jos Jacobs, Ludo Peeters, Rudy Pevenage, Willy Planckaert and Roger Swerts cycled for this cycling team. The Dutch employed by IJsboerke included Fedor den Hertog, Bert Pronk, Theo de Rooy and Peter Winnen.

We shoudn't forget the German cyclist Dietrich Thurau. Didi achieved about 40 victories in the cycling jersey of IJsboerke in 1978 and 1979, including the final classification of the Vuelta a Andalucia, a number of stages in the Giro d'Italia, he won the classic Liège-Bastogne-Liège and rode himself in the top ten of the 1979 Tour de France.

The IJsboerke team was very successful and achieved a total of 729 victories. The best for a Belgian cycling team is the winning of The Tour of Flanders in 1978 by the Belgian rider Walter Godefroot.
