THE MINI BICYCLE MUSEUM OF SJAAK ROOSENBOOM

08 March 2021 By Sjuul Bos News

Besides active cycling fans, there are also cycling fans from the sidelines or sometimes even the sofa. And sometimes they can be huge fans! And our best example is Sjaak Roosenboom.

CYCLING FAN IN HEART AND SOUL

Sjaak is not a sporty cyclist, but he is a real cycling fan. And this passion started very early. From childhood onwards, he visited all races that were held in the Halsteren area. In addition, he liked to watch the other cycling races from home, just like he still does! Of course, seeing a cycling team live is the most fun and that's why Sjaak's preference goes to cycling teams and riders from the races he visited himself. His favourite teams are for instance Peugeot, PDM, Pelforth, TI-Raleigh and Rabobank.

Sjaak is one of our most loyal customers and bought almost all our cycling shirts. These were cycling shirts from our regular assortment, but we also made a few cycling shirts especially for him. And some of them are now in the shop. These are for example the jerseys of Magniflex, C&A and Zonca. So our limited edition cycling jerseys are also thanks to Sjaak!

All our cycling jerseys have helped Sjaak a lot with his own mini cycling museum in Halsteren. And besides the jerseys of for example IJsboerke, Molteni and Mapei, his collection is further expanded by our retro beach towel. Sjaak also has a matching cap for almost every cycling jersey, and you can find water bottles, mugs and books, among other things. And open minded as we in Eindhoven are, we even show his Feyenoord collection...Whether Sjaak's mini bicycle museum is open for visitors? Unfortunately, no. But all the more reason to start such a collection yourself 😉 .
